Northern Kentucky Montessori Center http://www.nkmc.org A comprehensive Montessori Education for PreK - 6th grade Tue, 21 Feb 2012 21:54:12 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 2012-2013 Enrollment http://www.nkmc.org/2012/02/2012-2013-enrollment/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=2012-2013-enrollment http://www.nkmc.org/2012/02/2012-2013-enrollment/#comments Tue, 14 Feb 2012 14:02:40 +0000 ldieso@nkmc.org http://www.nkmc.org/?p=668 We are currently accepting applications for the 2012/2013 school year.  Re-enrollment of current families has begun.  On March 1st, we will begin contacting new families who have already submitted their applications.  The remaining spots are then filled with new students based on the date of application.   Finally, student interviews are completed in April.  During the interview, one or both teachers in the classroom will work individually with your child to gauge their interests, their level of comfort in the classroom, and gain an understanding of their developmental stage.  Rarely is the Montessori classroom deemed inappropriate for a child.  If you are seeking admission to the Elementary program, and your child is transferring from another school, we will require school records prior to the interview.  If your child has a psycho-educational evaluation, or if other developmental evaluations have been completed, we will require that documentation as well.  Once received, we will be happy to interview your child for entry into our Elementary program.

Financial Aid is available.  Applications are made on-line and awards are based on family income and size.  Extenuating circumstances are also taken into consideration (excessive medical expense, unexpected employment emergencies, etc.)  If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please let us know.
