Enrollment

At NKMC, children are guided by degreed and certified teachers who embrace the Montessori Philosophy espoused by Maria Montessori and the American Montessori Society. The school is affiliated with the American Montessori Society and adheres to the standards of the Kentucky Department of Education and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

If this brief introduction to NKMC and Montessori Philosophy intrigues you, then please do not hesitate to contact NKMC for an appointment and observation of our Montessori classroom. The steps toward enrolling your child begin with this observation. If our program provides a good fit for your child and family, then you may submit an enrollment application for a nominal fee. In early spring of each year, after current families have made their commitments to return, new applicants are offered any available openings for the upcoming fall. At that time, contracts are signed and tuition fees are paid to insure a spot for your child. New children are then interviewed in April to insure their readiness for the program.
