AUGUST
15 – Staff In-Service Week
22 – Parent Night, 7:00 p.m. (important school information to be dispersed, mandatory attendance for 1 parent)
25 – Elementary and Kindergarten children begin
29 – Second Year Children begin
30 – Group 1, first year children begin
31 – Group 2, first year children attend

SEPTEMBER
1 – Group 3, first year children attend
2 – Group 4, first year children attend
5 – No School, Labor Day
6 – Phase-in complete, all children attending
26 – Parent Night, 6:45 to 8:00, “Montessori 101”, Parents, Grandparents and friends welcome (RSVP required)

OCTOBER
6 – School House Symphony performance (Kindergarten and Elementary)
14 – Fall Holiday, School Closed
23 – Let’s celebrate Grandparents – Reception in honor of Grandparents, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30. Arrive at anytime and plan to stay for 20 to 30 minutes. Children bring grandparent(s) and show them a Montessori work in the classroom.
31 – Montessori Monday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., following drop-off, coffee, tea and time with Lisa & Julia. Invite a friend. Topic: “Why Is My Child Scrubbing a Table?”. RSVP, please.

NOVEMBER
7 – School Picture Day
12 – A Montessori Night’s Dream, 7:00 to 11 p.m., Kick-off Event for our Inaugural Annual Fund Drive
15 – Parent/Child Night, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Arrive at anytime and plan to stay for 20 to 30 minutes.
23, 24, 25 – Thanksgiving Holiday
28 – Montessori Monday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., following drop-off, coffee, tea and time with Lisa & Julia. Invite a friend. Topic: “Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies”. RSVP, please.

DECEMBER
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Parent observations required if you haven’t visited already; 8:30 to 9:00 or 9:00 to 9:30, choose a day

15 – Last day of school before Christmas Holiday

30 – Montessori Monday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., following drop-off, coffee, tea and time with Lisa & Julia. Invite a friend. Topic: Montessori Elementary RSVP, please.

FEBRUARY
6 – 100th day of school – DONUTS WITH DAD at 8:30 am.  Park and come in for a morning donut and visit with your child while they show you a specially prepared Montessori work.
