Summer Camp

Northern Kentucky Montessori Center will be debuting a new summer program for 2012.  The Summer Passport Adventure will provide the children with opportunities to explore art, music, and science through hands on experiences, special projects and guest instructors from local outreach programs.  This will be a Montessori-based program that will allow children to maintain their academic skills, while enjoying the arts, sciences, and cultural projects. Students will spend time working in the Montessori environment with special emphasis each week on a specific theme.  Each child will receive a passport and journal to document their summer adventures.  There will also be daily water activities for those students staying full day.

Camp will begin June 4th and end July 20th. There will be no camp the week of July 2nd. The hours for camp will be 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m, five days a week.  Snacks will be provided each day.  Parents are to provide lunch for their child.   Children ages 3 to 8 are invited to attend.  They must also be toilet-trained to attend.  Enrollment priority will be given to any currently enrolled children, to those who will be enrolling in the fall, and to those who graduate this year.

Update:  Due to limited interest in a full day option, the summer camp program will only be half day.  Hours are 8 am to 12 pm.
