NKMA provides a Montessori academic curriculum of individualized learning that optimizes the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. Children are guided by degreed and certified teachers who embrace the Montessori Philosophy. NKMA and its teachers are affiliated with both the American Montessori Society and the International Montessori Council. In addition, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services licenses the Early Childhood program.

Toddler, 24 -36 months, Early Childhood, ages 3 to 6 years, Elementary, 1st – 6th grades

Before Care – 7:45 to 8:15
Full Day – 8:15 to 3:30
Morning Only – 8:15 to 11:15
After Care – 3:30 to 5:45
Children in the Toddler program have a flexible schedule, but consecutive days, depending on family needs. Children attend 5 days per week in Early Childhood and Elementary.

School Year:  170 – 175 days

Non-Discriminatory Policy
Northern Kentucky Montessori Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, or a person’s status as a qualified candidate with a disability,  in administration of its educational program, admission policies, and financial assistance program, staff hiring and other center-administered programs.

Application & Interview Fees
$100 Toddler & Early Childhood – $150 Elementary prior to interview.  Children do not attend the initial appointment.

Toddler Program: $6360-$9384 (see fee schedule [1] for details)
Half-Day Preschool:  $6180
Full-Day Preschool:  $8916
Kindergarten:  $9144
Elementary: $9444
Before Care:  No Charge
After Care:
– 5 days per week for $235 per month;
– 4 days per week for $188 per month;
– 3 days per week for $140 per month;
– 2 days per week for $94 per month;
– Drop-in, available only to children enrolled Full-day, is $20 per hour.

Hot Lunch Program
A  hot-lunch is offered each day for children enrolled in the full-day program. There is a vegetarian option. NKMA is a nut-free school.

Toddler & Early Childhood School Fees
$200-$250  A one-time fee covers the cost of all field trips, the Family Christmas party and the Family Picnic at the end of the school year.  Field trips are on campus, with few exceptions.

Elementary School Fees
$450-$650  A one-time fee covers the cost of all field trips, the physical education program, transportation to necessary events,  the Family Christmas party and the Family Picnic at the end of the school year.

Financial Assistance
Northern Kentucky Montessori Academy provides limited financial assistance to families who wish to apply in February prior to March enrollment.  Applications are made on-line through the National Association of Independent Schools, School and Student Service for Financial Aid.  For details contact the Executive Director.

Sibling And Other Discounts
Discounts are provided and detailed on the fee schedule [1].

Tuition Contracts
Parents are required to sign a tuition contract upon enrolling their children at NKMA.

Extra-Curricular Activities
A variety of extra-curricular activities are offered after school between 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.  All children whether enrolled in after care or not are welcome to participate.  Fees for these activities are independent of after care fees.
