At a Glance

Program
NKMC provides a Montessori academic curriculum of individualized learning that optimizes the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. Children are guided by degreed and certified teachers who embrace the Montessori Philosophy. NKMC and its teachers are affiliated with both the American Montessori Society and the International Montessori Council. In addition, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services licenses the primary program.

Hours
Full Day – 8:15 to 3:30
Morning Only – 8:15 to 11:15
After Care – 3:30 to 5:30
Children attend 5 days per week

School Year:  170 – 175 days

Application & Interview Fees
$75 Primary – $150 Elementary prior to interview.  Children do not attend the initial appointment.

Half-Day:  $4945
Full-Day:  $7785
Elementary: $8250
Aftercare:  $702 to $1755 per year
- 5 days per week for $1755 per year;
- 3 days per week for $1100 per year;
- 2 days per week for $702 per year;
- Drop-in, available only to children enrolled Full-day, is available for $15 per day.

Hot Lunch Program
A vegetarian hot-lunch is offered each day for children enrolled in the full-day program. NKMC is a nut-free school.

Fees
$170 – A one-time fee covers the cost of all field trips, the Family Christmas party and the Family Picnic at the end of the school year.  Field trips are on campus, with few exceptions.

Financial Assistance
Northern Kentucky Montessori Center provides limited financial assistance to families who wish to apply in February prior to March enrollment.  Applications are made on-line through the National Association of Independent Schools, School and Student Service for Financial Aid.  For details contact the Executive or Associate Director.

Sibling And Other Discounts
Discounts are provided and detailed on the Fee Schedule.

Tuition Contracts
Parents are required to sign a tuition contract upon enrolling their children at NKMC.

Summer Program
Thematic enrichment program, ages 2.6 to 7, 8:00 to 12:00, 5 days per week. No camp the week of July 4th.
